We are pleased to inform you that Steinar Hollesen Eirikstoft has been appointed as Managing Director for Faroe Ship. Steinar is currently CEO for the National Hospital of the Faroe Islands, one of the largest employers in the country. Steinar has vast experience in both technically and organizationally demanding leadership positions for more than 14 years both in the Faroe Islands and in Denmark. He will start at Faroe Ship 1 of December.

It is a privilege to take on the role of Managing Director at Faroe Ship, a company that plays such an important role in the Faroese community. I am excited to contribute to the company’s continued growth and to support our customers and partners with reliable and innovative solutions, both locally and internationally.
Steinar has a Diploma in Business Administration HD1 and HD2 from Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Master’s Degree in Production and Management from Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) and B.S.c. Degree in Electrical Engineering from same school.

Under Steinar’s leadership we are certain the Company will continue to grow and build on recent investments in warehousing, cold storage, terminal operation and new dynamic and modern headquarters. We would also like to thank Bogi P. Nielsen for all his contribution and great effort for Faroe Ship in past years and we wish him success in his new career, but as was announced in August, Bogi will take over as Managing Director for Pelagos, a trusted customer of Faroe Ship.
